CGHSR Releases 2025 Annual Report
The Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility has released its 2025 annual report.
The report highlights the work CGHSR did in 2025 to advance global health education, research and training. CGHSR’s work in 2025 continued to span geography and disciplines, supporting the University of Minnesota community while also creating meaningful relationships with global partners.
Key accomplishments in 2025 include:
- Working with students from 14 different UMN schools and colleges
- Supporting UMN students in traveling to 23 different countries around the globe
- Supporting global health research in seven different countries
“Global health work is complicated and ever-changing. But I’m encouraged by the work our center and our partners do every day to ensure we can continue to embody a spirit of social responsibility that creates meaningful results for real people,” said CGHSR Executive Director Shailey Prasad, MD, MPH.
