In March, MSSI and CGHSR partnered again to co-host a two-day long virtual panel discussion and training on obstetric fistula, a topic of vital importance in the region.

The COVID-19 pandemic in India is reaching crisis levels, as the country hits more than 20 million infections and its health system struggles to keep pace with the disease. At the same time, India is the largest producer of vaccines in the world, but only 11% of the country's population have been vaccinated and it is now facing vaccine shortages. 

The Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility’s (CGHSR) Global Health Case Competition has drawn students from multiple schools and disciplines at the University for the last 8 years. The unique interprofessional learning competition is an opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to come together to develop innovative solutions for 21st century global health issues. The 2021 and 2020 competitions were unlike any other.
