Global Health Case Competition 2021 Virtual Information Session
Our Global Health Case Competition is a unique opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students from multiple schools and disciplines to come together to develop innovative solutions for 21st century global health issues.
The Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility hosts the Global Health Case Competition, an interprofessional student learning competition for students to gain simulated professional experience while building a network of interdisciplinary students that will soon become their colleagues. As part of the 2021 case competition, teams of 4-6 students from at least three University of Minnesota colleges or schools will have one week to work on a case featuring a global health challenge. Each team will create a video presentation to submit at the end of the week for the first round of competition. Through the review process, a panel of judges will select the top teams to present their case solution live during the final round.
We are hosting a virtual information session on October 21, 2020 for interested students to learn more about the case competition logistics and learning objectives. A previous UMN Global Health Case Competition winner will also join us to share their perspective and provide advice on how to excel in the competition.
