2023 Quie and Peterson Global Health Lecture: Compassion in Global Health

The Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility is hosting its seventh annual Quie and Peterson Global Health Lecture on Monday, Nov. 20. This year’s topic is Compassion in Global Health: Improving Health Outcomes Through Primary Health Care. 

The event will take place virtually from 5 - 6:15 p.m. CST and feature speakers Shams Syed, MD, of the World Health Organization and David Addiss, MD, MPH, of the Task Force for Global Health. The lecture will be moderated by CGHSR Executive Director Shailey Prasad, MD, MPH. 

The Quie and Peterson Global Health Lecture honors CGHSR founders Dr. Paul Quie and Dr. Philip Peterson. Learn more about this year’s lecture here.
