Fall Information Session – India: Global Health, Globalization and Leadership Course

Join a dynamic, interdisciplinary group of learners for India: Global Health, Globalization and Leadership (GHSR 6715). This winter break course in Mysore, India will explore health, health care delivery, and social determinants in the context of globalization in India. 

  • Learn with peers through classroom-based activities from local Indian faculty and healthcare providers
  • Explore Mysore with guided site visits to health care facilities, cultural sites, and community locations
  • Gain leadership skills needed in the fields of global health and development

Join us for our fall virtual information session with Dr. Shailey Prasad and CGHSR staff for an overview of the course and the organizations involved. 

This course is open to UMN graduate and professional students for credit (GHSR 6715, 3 cr.) as well as UMN alumni and community learners for non-credit enrollment. Past cohorts have included students from public health, medicine, public policy, education, social work, and more. The course takes place December 29, 2022 – January 14, 2023.
