We know that climate change is happening now and that the health impacts will be felt by generations to come. We also know that health care systems contribute 8.5% of the greenhouse gasses in the US. There is a global call for nations to decarbonize their health systems. Let's start with Minnesota!!

On March 24th from 11-12:30pm Central, the School of Nursing is hosting its second annual Planetary Health Guest Lectureship. This year the featured speaker is Dr. Elizabeth Schenk, Executive Director for Environmental Stewardship for the Providence Health system. She will be speaking about "Decarbonizing Health Care: An Urgent Challenge and Opportunity for Change."
