The Global Health Student Advisory Board (GHSAB) is seeking applications from students across the Health Sciences that are passionate about global health and want to help shape global health educational opportunities at the University of Minnesota. GHSAB is an interdisciplinary group of students that advises the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility (CGHSR) and meets monthly to organize global health related events on campus for all students. The Global Health Student Advisory Board hosted the innaugural Global Health Week April 8-12, 2019. Events included a student-run workshop on interprofessional approaches to local and global health challenges, a Peer Mentorship Café, a panel with the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility's Leadership Council on global health ethics, and several other speakers and events.
Chelsea Kline, School of Public Health, a student in the 2019 India: Global Health, Globalization, and Leadership course offered through the Center of Global Health and Social Responsibility, is highlighted on the School of Public Health website.
