Climate Change and Health: An Interprofessional Response consists of nine short slide decks that can be utilized to introduce the connection between climate change and health to health professionals. They are intended to be used by instructors and programs when teaching about the connection between climate and health in existing courses. Topics include Air Pollution, Severe Weather, Extreme Heat, Increasing Allergens, Changes in Vector Ecology, Water Quality Impact, Environmental Degradation, and Water and Food Supply.
Yunqing (Iris) Fei joins CGHSR as our Research Program Coordinator in Nanning, China. She just wrapped up her BA in Psychology at the University of Minnesota. She is replacing Eric Chu as he departs the CGHSR team for graduate school.
The Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility at the University of Minnesota is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2018-2019 Fogarty Global Health Fellowships. Fogarty fellows and scholars train in global health research for 12 months at a proposed study site at a collaborating institution in Uganda under the mentorship of University of Minnesota and Makerere University mentor teams. The Fogarty Global Health Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota is led by Dr. Shailey Prasad in the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility.
