Training the future health workforce of Afghanistan

The University of Minnesota has partnered with Kabul University of Medical Sciences (KUMS) to improve clinical, educational, professional, and leadership skills for health sciences faculty in Kabul, Afghanistan. The effort is part of a five-year USAID project aiming to improve the academic quality of the KUMS faculties of Midwifery, Medical Lab Technology, Dentistry, and Anesthesiology. CGHSR has organized specialized short-courses for KUMS faculty that are delivered by UMN faculty and partners. Learn more about the project.
