Second Place at International Emory Global Health Case Competition
CGHSR is excited to announce that the UMN Global Health Case Compeition team earned both Second Place and tied for the Participants' Choice Award at the 2018 International Emory Global Health Case Compeition this past weekend at Emory University. The multidisciplinary team spent a full week examining the case, "An Epidemic Offsides: Containing an Outbreak During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar". Twenty-four teams from colleges and universities across the world presented their proposals and four advanced to the final round.
The team's second place win is the best UMN result so far and this is the second year a UMN team as been voted Participants' Choice. Congratulations to the team and to all who helped make this success possible!
