New Resource for teaching about Climate Change and Health
Climate Change and Health: An Interprofessional Response consists of nine short slide decks that can be utilized to introduce the connection between climate change and health to health professionals. They are intended to be used by instructors and programs when teaching about the connection between climate and health in existing courses. Topics include Air Pollution, Severe Weather, Extreme Heat, Increasing Allergens, Changes in Vector Ecology, Water Quality Impact, Environmental Degradation, and Water and Food Supply. These resources were assembled by the "Climate Champions Team" consisting of members from UMN health science schools and affiliate programs, and led by Teddie Potter and Shanda Demorest of the School of Nursing.
