“My time in Quito has taught me that public health looks different in different countries, communities and cultures. As I continue on my journey and progress in my career as a public health professional, I hope to incorporate interculturality into my practices as I work with diverse communities, especially in the global public health sectors.”
— Student who traveled to Quito as part CGHSR’s Ecuador: Social, Environmental and Cultural Determinants of Health course

"It was a really special class — I really enjoyed it and would love to go back. The scholarship I received was so helpful. It made the trip so much less stressful and allowed me to be involved and enjoy my time there.”
— Katelyn Parsons, MD, who traveled to Mysore, India, to study global health as part of CGHSR’s course, India: Global Health, Globalization and Leadership
