Information Session — India: Global Health, Globalization & Leadership Course

Join us for our fall virtual information session with Dr. Shailey Prasad and CGHSR staff for an overview of our course India: Global Health, Globalization & Leadership. The session will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. CDT.

India: Global Health, Globalization & Leadership is a 3-week course that takes place in Mysore, India, during the U of M's winter break. The course emphasizes the significance of social determinants of health in a globalized world, with a focus on health systems, economic growth, and development, and their effects on wellbeing. 

This course is open to UMN graduate and professional students for credit (GHSR 6715, 3 cr.) as well as UMN alumni and community learners for non-credit enrollment. Past cohorts have included students from public health, medicine, nursing, public policy, education, social work, and more.
