Global Health Day provides an opportunity for those engaged in global health to come together, exchange knowledge across disciplines, and make connections. The event occurs each fall and includes speakers, poster sessions, and a photo contest.  

The U of M Global Health Case Competition is a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary teams of students to collaboratively analyze a real-world global health challenge with the goal of providing helpful strategic recommendations to move the case subject forward efficiently and effectively. This annual competition occurs each year in January.

The annual Quie & Peterson Global Health Lecture honors the work of Dr. Paul G. Quie and Dr. Phillip K. Peterson, striving to continue their legacy of global health leadership and to inspire the next generation of global health leaders.


This seminar series highlights best practices in planning and implementing global health research studies.
