India: Global Health, Globalization and Leadership Course
December 28, 2017 to January 12, 2018
This program will provide a global health team-based learning experience with field observations in Mysore, India. Through a combination of classroom-based activities and experiential learning, participants will learn about health in the Indian context, including methods of healthcare delivery, public health infrastructure, and the influence of social determinants.

Participate in a 2 to 4-week project related to public health, health care delivery, and/or other community activities.
This program is offered in partnership with the Vivekananda Institute of Indian Studies (VIIS), a Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) initiative. They have worked in the fields of health, public health, advocacy, and education in southern India for three decades, and have educational collaborations with institutes of higher education around the world.
